MSI Wind 10-Inch Mini Laptop Review

I was fortunate enough to test drive three of the most popular Mini Notebook PC's on the market and The Msi Wind U100-030US was included in my trials,

The MSI Wind although small is a powerhouse of a machine, The system comes with a 5400 rpm 80GB SATA Western Digital Scorpio hard drive, which is nice. The nicer part about the hard drive is that it is easily upgraded.

The screen resolution is limited to 1024 x 600, which is very usable but it could be better.

MSI Wind U100 10inch Mini Notebook, 6-Cell Lithium-ion Battery, 65W (100/240v) AC power adapter, Carrying Bag, Software Bundle - Windows XP Home or Linux , 1-Year Limited Warranty.

Weighing in at 5.5 pounds the MSI is quite heavy for a mini but it is still light enough for taking on your travels.

The MSI Wind is a speed freak, it carries out most tasks efficiently and it is a great machine to use if you are multi tasking, the keyboard though I must say is a little cramped and your fingers can get a little sore after a few minutes.

The MSI Wind comes pre installed with windows XP Home, but there is a linux version available if you so prefer. powering up your machine is very quick too, from hitting the power button to ready to use in around 15-20 seconds.

Its compact size and weight make the MSI Wind Ideal for carrying around with you as you travel and it is ideal for business trips or for working as you travel too and from work.

I would love to own one of these machines but sadly my finances are tied up at the moment maybe after christmas I will treat myself.
