The Mansion at The MGM Grand Las Vegas

The Mansion at MGM Grand

A travel guide to Las Vegas wouldn't be complete without mentioning the Mansion at MGM Grand, the most expensive hotel in the world, with prices starting at $5000.00 per night.

This place is something very special indeed and with a price tag like that it has to be.

Luxury, style, decadence, class, elegance and extravagance are the most used words by visitors who try to describe this serene and sedate Tuscan Style Villa in the centre of the Arizona Desert.

The Mansion first opened its massive gates in May 1999 and offers 29 villas which range in size from 2,400 square feet to 12,000 square feet.

Designed to give guests some peace and tranquility from the throng and excitement of The Las Vegas strip.

The mansion sits well behind the The MGM Grand hotel and casino surrounded by imposing walls and heavy steel gates at the entrance to keep unwanted visitors at bay.

LUXURY OF THE MANSION

Rooms at the Mansion

A room or should I say Villa at the Mansion is usually reserved for those Gamblers who spend silly amounts of money at the tables but you can rent one out for the night if you have at least $5000 to spare.

The rooms are elegant, plush, stylish, luxurious and comfortable, on entering you will notice the heavy exquisitely carved wooden doors, and the high vaulted ceilings that catch your eyes and of course being styled on a Tuscan villa the pillars and arches are all included in the design.

Each villa is beautifuly decorated and works of art hang on the walls along side photograhs and tapestries from all around the world.

With fresh hand picked flowers in every room, beautiful fine china ornaments and elegant furnature.

Feel like a dip in the pool, there is a swimming pool in every room.

The service, ambiance, cleanliness, furnishings, and beautiful surroundings make the Mansion hotel heaven on earth of course having your own personal butler in each of the villas means that you never have to lift a single finger and you can relax even more knowing that your every whim will be taken care of.

Ammenities in the Mansion

There are 7 communal areas in the Mansion for guest to check out at their leisure if they do eventually emerge from the luxury and comfort of their rooms.

A private casino, perfect for those high rollers who want to escape from public view.

Two luxury Spa's for those who want to take advantage of a personal massage or a wide range of other relaxing or detoxing treatments.

The Mansion has a DVD library containing hundreds of titles that can be watched on the state of the art screening room just ask your Butler for the night for a list of available movies.

Luxurious and comfortable conference rooms are also a part of the mansion for those execs who need to get away from it all.

indoor pool & spa, gym and a fine dining room.

Treat yourself Like One of the High Rollers

If you ever find yourself with a spare $5000 i would urge you to spend a night at the Mansion, a once in a life time experience that you will remember for the rest of your life, even after one night you will find it difficult to return to the humdrum of normality but you can at least have that feather in your cap saying that you done that and you loved every minute of it.

No other Hotel in Vegas can compete in the same league as the Mansion it takes you to a different world away from the commercialism and lights and sounds of the city that never sleeps.

Cool hub, ugly mansion! Sorry Jimmy -- looks like you put a lot of work into the site. This mansion does not impress me. I am not a fan of mansions. They are too classic and those chandeliers are hidious! The exterior of the mansion is actually quite nice. Hope you like my bipolar comment.

That is just WOW... 5k a night? I recently took my first visit to Vegas last month and loved it. I'll have to remember to go to that hotel when I visit next time and have a look around.

I stayed there over the weekend for the pacquiao vs hatton boxing fight (may 2, '09) the cheapest room at the mansion is 5 thousand and they have different sizes. We paid 15,000 a night for ours, 3 bedrooms, private pool an kitchen. The mansion is amazing, they have maids and butlers, limo service, countless amenities, and most of all privacy!

It's high priced place... but they don't always get asking price. It depends on who you are and when you go. Restaurant is supposed to be very good. I have not been there only heard about it. I think MGM Signature Suites are better deal than Skylofts which are not being maintained that great with down economy. People have such interest because they want to know what kind of place is worth that money. For about 1/4 the cost you can stay at a very good place in the Four Seasons.

This is fantastic! The last time I was in LV was in 1981 and I think things have changed A LOT since then! Lots of world class hotels and I guess 1000+ rooms hotels are a norm.

The Mansion at the MGM is definitely one of the really cool "secret" places in Vegas that surprisingly few people even know about. I was there once and it was truly amazing! Good hub!

Fascinating! The mansion is one of the few places I haven't been to in Vegas...it's definitely hidden from the rest of the Strip!

In my opinion The Villas at Bellaggio far surpasses The Mansion. Truly for the elite.
