Good choices of luxury hotels in London. I would add my favorit The Landmark hotel to the list - the best beds in London :)
I've had several trips to London, but never got to stay at the Ritz or the others. I enjoyed my visits anyway. Maybe I'll hit the lottery some day and go first class.
Tea and cucumber sandwich? Hmmmm not sure they go together well for my palate ;) But you certainly have wet my appetite with some of these hotels. The Ritz Hotel and the picture of that beautiful yellow room is the one I am booking!! Great job james. . love all your choices ;)
Great choice, thank you, may I send you the bill.
Great coverage, maybe you ought to send these Hotels a bill!
I agree with many of the comments made above, this is a splendid post. I was just in London this past summer (summer of 2009) and it was fantastic. I didn't get to stay in any of these hotels (many of them are simply out of my budget), but maybe some day. Going to London and staying in the Ritz may or may not be an aspiration of mine...
Thanks for sharing this!
Great hub, written so well it makes me long for London, been awhile since I visited
there is nothing humble about your page smiles
very nice hub about top hotels in LONDON< I have never been to London, but I love to go and stay in one of these places, wishes do come true, thank you,
A very entertaing, helpful and informative hub with beautiful photographas, must say. Keep writing.
Sherlock Holmes playground, 5-stars and the queen. You have covered it all.
It may seem like a strange thing for one of your fellow Scots to say but I really miss living in London. Although it is no substitute for Edinburgh in my eyes, it is a very interesting city and all of the activities which you mention are more than worthwhile experiencing. Have been in a couple of these hotels for coffee, meals - never as a guest.
Great Hub - thanks for the memories.
Useful to know, nice to see them all on one page. Helps to remember all the names and yes, I agree, London does have some fantastic hotels and the great thing is all the different locations.
Very useful tips for people who are planning to travel around London soon. The Ritz Hotel is definitely one of the best London hotels that I would recommend London travelers to pay special attention to. Great travel guide, Jimmy, thanks!
