My Best friend loves my Girlfriend

Life couldn't get much better, you have a new girlfriend and she is the best thing that has ever happened to you, you are totally besotted with her and you know that she feels the same way about you. There is only one small problem that needs to be fixed your best friend is in love with her too.

Getting angry will not solve any problems, flying into a jealous rage and throwing punches at your friend will not only lose you a good friend but I am quite sure that your girlfriend wouldn't be too impressed with your actions either and you would probably lose her as well.

You don't want to lose either your girlfriend or your best friend, so you have to be mature and deal with it in a calm and collected manner.

If you are secure in your relationship with your girlfriend and you are sure that she feels the same way about you, then it shouldn't really worry you that someone else likes her in the same way that you do.

She wants to be with you as much as you want to be with her and even if every man in the world fell in love with her it is you she has chosen to be with.

Your friend will have to deal with the disappointment at some point and get on with his life and you need to help him to understand that as soon as possible before he starts to resent you.

Talk To Him

The simple fact is that you have to talk to your friend, clear the air so to speak, let him know that you really want to keep your friendship with him and that he must accept that you and your girlfriend are an item and meant to be together. Think about how you would feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

Ask Your Girlfriend to Talk to Him

If your friend isn't willing to listen to you then perhaps it would be better from him to hear it straight from the horses mouth. Your girlfriend will be able to tell hm that she likes him as a friend and that she doesn't share the same feelings that he has for her.

As your best friend he has told you that he has a crush on your girl, there is nothing in this world that you can do that will stop him feeling the way that he does.

The probability is that he will respect your relationship, after all he was honest enough to tell you how he feels. If he cannot accept or respect your relationship then you have to consider the fact that he is not a true friend, because a true friend would support you in anything that was making you happy.

How many crushes did you have before your girlfriend came onto the scene? You felt the same way as your friend does now and you know that although he has a crush on your girl today, another girl will be the focus of his attention soon enough.

Trust Your Girlfriend

Your girlfriend is into you and you should trust her 100%, just because someone has a crush on her does not mean that she likes them too. Your know your friend has a crush on her because he told you but what about the other guys out there that you don't know about who also have a crush on your girl.

To put it bluntly, if your relationship is true you have nothing to worry about if you become possessive and jealous every time another guy looks at your girl you will never have a relationship that lasts. If you don't trust your girlfriend then your relationship is set to fail before it begins.
